2025 Course Routes

We have exciting new route additions and direction changes coming to KowTown in 2025. Part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. We are working closely with our local office to finalize course routes and permitting. All routes are subject to change but will be communicated in a timely manner.

KTG 100 The Bull

  • July 5th

  • Fee $155

  • 85% Gravel

  • Distance: 100 mi

  • Elevation Gain: 10,000 feet

  • 4 Aid Stations

In an effort to increase the fun factor, we have made some changes to our 2025 courses.  Not to disappoint those who yearn for a gravel race ass-whooping, we’ve made the long course a little longer with more elevation gain.  We have verbal permission with the BLM to use the Wolford Mt Recreation Area again this year.  The Bull riders will tackle the Gun Sight/Antelope loop from 2023 in the opposite direction, clockwise.  Racers again get to experience the rolling County Road 23 Whoopty Whoops also in the opposite direction, from north to south.  The changes allow for 15% more gravel this year.  Additional changes will be descending Sulphur Gulch, Which will make for a super fun rollercoaster descent down the double track to highway 40 crossing.  From there you will circumnavigate Williams Fork Reservoir counterclockwise and make your way back to the 2500 foot climb up Grouse Mountain.  New this year will be navigating the lollipop clockwise.  The 3 mile private ranch section is back but in the opposite direction.  Climbing up through the ranch and descending the 1900 foot Black Mountain climb from 2024.  The push to the finish will be the same as 2024.  This private section is exclusive to KowTown and only accessible on race day! You won’t get these experiences just anywhere, only in KowTown, Untapped and Untamed.
E-bikes are not allowed on this course.

Private property section in yellow is only accessible on race day.

KTG 68 The Cow

July 5th

  • Fee: $125

  • 76% Gravel

  • Distance: 68 mi

  • Elevation Gain: 5500 ft

  • 3 Aid Stations

Our middle length course provides a bucking bronco of an experience! Similar to last year, the difference between the Bull and Cow routes will be the 2500 foot climb up Grouse Mountain and the Gun Sight/Antelope loop - the middle course simply cuts them out.

To mix it up in 2024 we’ve changed direction - and course - a few times. Racers again get to experience the rolling County Road 23 Whoopty Whoops, the Parshall/Williams Fork Reservoir loop counterclockwise, and the fan favorite Sulphur Gulch double track in the fast direction, down. The three mile private ranch section is back but in the opposite direction. Climbing up through the ranch and descending the 1900 foot Black Mountain climb from 2024.  The push to the finish will be the same as 2024.  This private section is exclusive to KowTown and only accessible on race day! The Cow course is highlighted by scenic landscapes, waterfront views, and our untapped, untamed gravel.

E-bikes are allowed on this course but will not be chipped nor eligible for prizes. Please register for the KTG 68 E-Bike event.

Our shortest course welcomes all to experience Kremmling’s superior gravel.  Don’t be fooled by the length, we included some rowdy, off-the-beaten-path sections to give all a boot-stomping good time. This is a perfect course for the gravel curious and those who want a shorter distance and time commitment - whether you’re out to win or just join in on the fun.
